COMMUNITY CAMP – Community Camp is a volunteer run week long resident camp program held at Camp Lyle McLeod during the first part of July. Girls going into 2nd grade through 12th grade next fall are eligible to attend. Girls who are going into 10th – 12th grade and have P.A. core training may come as Program Aides. Girls register as individuals (this is not a troop event). They are placed in units by grade level. Activities at camp include cooking two meals a day in units, swimming, boating, crafts, campfires, singing, and much much more. A registered nurse is on duty at all times, and all waterfront staff have Red Cross training's. All unit staff are out door camping trained. The flyers for this camp come out at the March leaders meeting (3rd Monday of the month). Each leader is responsible for picking up the flyers and giving to every girl in her troop.
